Privacy Policy
1. The Dayframe application
Dayframe is a local-first desktop app. Everything you create — tasks, lists, notes, settings — is stored in a database on your own computer. We (the developer) do not collect, receive, transmit, store, or have any access to that data.
- No account. You don't sign up or log in. There's nothing to identify you.
- No cloud, no sync. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.
- No analytics or telemetry. The app does not phone home, count usage, or send crash reports.
- Backups stay local. Automatic backups and manual exports are written to your own computer only.
2. This website
The website at dayframe.aiwrk.org is a static page. We do not set cookies, run analytics, or embed third-party trackers. Like any website, our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) may automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address and request headers to deliver the page and protect against abuse; this is handled under their own privacy terms.
3. Downloads and donations (third parties)
Some links take you to third-party services that have their own privacy policies, which we do not control:
- Downloads are hosted on GitHub. When you download, GitHub may process your request data under its privacy policy.
- Donations go to Buy Me a Coffee, Ko-fi, or PayPal. If you choose to donate, that payment and any information you provide are handled by those providers under their terms. We never see your payment details.
4. Children
Dayframe is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
5. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
